Leadership
Katharion’s leadership team includes the following individuals:
- Eric Schwab, CEO -- A veteran of the Internet industry, Eric is a founder of the company and continues to oversee the company's direction and ongoing operations. Eric spent over ten years as the CEO of I-3, leading technology consulting engagements and application development projects for a wide range of private and public clientele including AEGON, Broadcom, and UCLA. Previously, he directed the finances, administration and technology for Chaix & Johnson, an international design firm. Eric attended Williams College, where he graduated cum laude and with honors in three years.
- David Rosen, CTO -- The lead software architect for Katharion, David is responsible for the company's message handling architecture and administrative interfaces. With over twelve years of experience developing Internet applications for companies such as CNET and Lucent, David's areas of expertise include object-oriented design and development, complex database design, real-time processing, and high availability systems design. He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
- Jeff Paz, Director of Sales – Jeff has over twenty years of sales experience including channel development and major account sales for companies including Autodesk, Intergraph, and eQuorum. Jeff has over fifteen years of experience selling technology solutions, including over three years focused on email security services. Jeff has a BA from Kansas State University.
- Jason Parsons, Network Architect – An expert on network design and security, Jason has spent over ten years developing network architectures and security protocols for large organizations and Internet Service Providers. Jason developed Katharion’s methodology and infrastructure for systems deployment, and is also responsible for Katharion’s network design. Prior to his work with Katharion, Jason was a senior systems architect for Genuity.
